IPFACE at Venture Center and LexInnova have teamed up to support inventive activities, innovators, inventive entrepreneurs and inventive R&D organizations in the Venture Center's extended innovation ecosystem. The overall shared goal is to nurture inventive activity and incubate inventive technologies/ ventures.
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility activities, LexInnova has volunteered to provide free IP related services to deserving innovators, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations selected and recommended by Venture Center. LexInnova has committed a fixed number of man-hours towards this collaboration.
The scope of the collaboration includes:- LexInnova -Venture Center Award for Inventive Ventures : Under this award scheme, LexInnova shall offer patent analytics support to competitively selected resident incubatee company(s) of Venture Center.
- LexInnova-Venture Center Award for Social Enterprises : Under this award scheme, LexInnova shall offer drafting, filing and prosecution support to competitively selected and deservng social innovators/ ventures in the network of Venture Center.
- LexInnova-Venture Center Joint Events : From time to time, LexInnova shall collaborate with Venture Center on joint events related to IP.
- LexInnova- Venture Center Service for R&D Institutions : In collaboration with IPFACE at Venture Center, LexInnova shall provide a patent portfolio analysis/audit for selected publicly funded non-profit R&D organizations in Venture Center's extended innovation ecos-system.
This collaboration was launched in FY2015-16 and is in its trial year.
